Every block has exactly one previous block, but could have more than one next block. Because of this, Bitcoin blocks really form more of a tree than a chain. Some of the branches are dead-ends and, as you must prove, some of the branches are totally invalid because of Vanderpoole's malfeasance.

Somewhere in this maze is a path from the genesis block to today's newest block. FIND IT! And tell Deborah Chunk which block is on the tip of most valid Bitcoin chain in the tree! AND ALL BEFORE THE NEXT COMMERCIAL BREAK!

Blocks are labeled by their height in the chain and appended with a letter (OR WHATEVER) to indicate multiple candidate blocks at each height. Some of these blocks are invalid! But there must be a path from genesis to tip in here somewhere.
